RNA purified from blood samples stored at various temperatures with Lysis Buffer. 500 µL of whole blood centrifuged, cells resuspended in 600 µL of Lysis Buffer and either used immediately (lanes 1 to 4) or stored for 24 h at 4°C (lanes 5 to 8), or for 7 days at -20°C (lanes 9 to 12) before processing with GeneJET Whole Blood RNA Purification Mini Kit. RNA integrity analyzed using Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. 

1 to 4 – RNA from fresh blood

5-8 – RNA from samples stored in Lysis Buffer for 24 h at +4°C

9-12 – RNA from samples stored in Lysis Buffer for 7 days at -20°C
